Treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of disease are restricted to medical doctors. Persons without the required qualifications who practise or participate in the diagnosis or treatment of real or supposed pathological disorders through personal acts, verbal or written consultations, or other methods, can be prosecuted.
Homeopathy is not officially recognised but may be practised by medical doctors, but currently Turkey has no CAM laws or regulations.
Turkey has no regulations regarding selling, exporting importing or producing homeopathic remedies. But the Ministry of Health of Turkey General Directorate of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy is working on the regulation.
