The regulatory status of homeopathy in Greece
Homeopathic practice
All medical doctors, by virtue of their professional competence, are allowed to practise homeopathy. The profession of homeopath is mentioned in legislation for labour and employment under the Ministry of Trade/Economics.
Homeopathic medicines
European Directive 2001/83/EC has only partially been implemented. The basic rules for medicinal products are laid down in Decision No. ΔYΓ3(α)/83657. Decree Y.A. 7881/94 is not sufficient.
