Profile: The homoeopathic institute and hospital of San José was founded in 1878 by Dr. José Núñez Pernía, Marquis of Núñez. The most important building, the homoeopathic hospital, was sponsored by the Hahnemann Foundation of Madrid (founded in 1845) and is being catalogued as monument of cultural importance, a total restoration and rehabilitation is currently going on. In this building there is, besides the residence for the elderly, a homoeopathic clinic and a charity, accessible for the doctors of the Hahnemann Foundation of Madrid. Conferences and courses or seminars on homoeopathy are being organised.
